Optical Designs Santa Monica
RETAIL
I created social content for Optical Designs Santa Monica, a high-end luxury eyewear boutique on Montana Avenue.
I led and executed original content creation and curated posts for the brand’s Instagram account. Additionally, I wrote post copy for the brand and managed influencer collaborations.
The Instagram account averaged over 10% follower growth, week after week.
Thomas Lavin Showroom

I wrote post copy and curated the Instagram feed for The Thomas Lavin Showroom, a West Hollywood-based, high-end furnishings showroom.
My approach took on the showroom owner’s fun and witty personality, while also maintaining a strong emphasis on luxury and craftsmanship.
As a result of my efforts, the brand’s voice was effectively conveyed through social, aligning with the showroom’s impeccable in-person shopping experience. For the first time, the showroom was able to establish an active presence on social that prompted engagement from followers.
La Cienega Design Quarter (LCDQLA)
INTERIOR DESIGN
I wrote post copy and curated the Instagram feed for the La Cienega Design Quarter, L.A.'s legendary design district. The goal was to highlight all 60 shops and showrooms of the LCDQ by featuring their product on the LCDQ Instagram feed.
An understanding of product details, including material, pattern, and color, along with a familiarity with popular designers and brands was required for this project. The LCDQ is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization.
Through injecting a witty and enthusiastic tone in post copy and using hashtags strategically, the shops and showrooms of the LCDQ received increased exposure on social.
Winward Academy
EDUCATION
I created a social strategy, directed content creation and contributed to post copywriting for Winward Academy, an online tutoring and test prep virtual learning platform. The mission-driven brand offers high school students on-demand video lessons similar to in-person private tutoring, at an accessible cost.
I also managed paid social advertising for the client to promote a webinar series and drive new leads. The results of the paid ad campaigns led to an average cost of $0.89 per conversion.
Overall, the engagement rate for the Instagram account increased by 5.64%.
